$20 lower than the recent Woot! deal, nice.

I recently bought the Woot deal about 2 weeks back and have been loving the Ultra 1; mine came with very few nicks on the bezel but the battery health was 100% (!). The box it arrived in was kinda sketchy and I refuse to use the cheap charger it came with. Paired with a Nomad Sport Strap and I'm definitely happy I bought it to replace my older Series 7.

This deal. They both look new. 13 hours to update but they're both online and working great. 100% battery health

Debating on selling mine personally

Tune the watch, I've gotten my u1 to 3 days no charge. Normal usage is closer to 2-2.5. I find this and the sapphire are the main differentiators over a regular Apple Watch.

You already have a sunk cost in a watch which realistically would last twice the life of that $100 used, something to keep in mind when deciding. I don't think you'll go wrong with either choice, there are pros and cons to either.

What even made me consider an awu was a video by Brandon Talbot on YT:

This perspective is one I share. Now I leave my phone at home quite a bit more than I did before. I'm generally rough on watches, so far my awu has held up. The only issue I've had was some sand getting in the dial on the beach in Jamaica, but that wasn't too big of a deal.

Anyhow, hope this helps you make a decision one way or another.

It was a 30min glitch in the Target site on Monday. It was for a blue Ultra 2, they mistakenly had it priced the same as the Ultra 1.

I do agree with you. I've upgraded every other year with a basic aluminum and only decided to go Ultra 2 this year cause I hated their decision to go jet black. I got a really good deal price matching and trading in my old one.

But ultimately, the battery life and the unique screens are what you're getting. Plus the titanium/sapphire glass material upgrades.

I do appreciate the aesthetic being different from every other Apple Watch but its price point makes me focus a bit more on making sure I don't accidentally hit it on something vs the aluminum one.

Ultimately it's like a dive watch, most people won't buy it for its features but just cause it looks different and stands out more.

Ordered yesterday, just received it this morning.

Packaging: Generic. No Apple logo or anything

Battery capacity: 100%

Condition: Looks pretty new. No visible nicks or scratches

However, still TBD. I bought iPhone Pro from Amazon few months ago (which was also sold by Woot on Amazon) and initially the battery capacity showed 100% (and still does) but now says it needs servicing. When I took it to Apple store, they said they won't touch it because there are too many non-Apple parts inside. Gonna trade this phone in when I see a trade in phone deal that I like

Are straps with Ultra 1 and 2 interchangeable? Does anyone have a recommendation of a good watch band instead of the standard one?

I wanted a blue and orange bands for this sort of rubber band as changeables --but was also willing to go with off brand to save money
