AMC Stubs price increase from $15 to $17.99 starting January 1, 2025

Expected this to happen eventually. Don't expect any promos for renewing anymore until next year. Here's the email they sent:
"We have some important updates to share with you about your AMC Stubs Premiere™ membership, effective January 1, 2025.
But first, here is what isn't changing: AMC Stubs Premiere continues to offer amazing benefits like waived online ticket fees for every purchase, free size upgrades on popcorn & fountain drinks, priority lanes at the theatre, a free large popcorn & fountain drink birthday gift, free refills on large popcorn, and Discount Tuesday ticket savings. Plus, Premiere members earn points 5x faster than Insiders – with a $5 reward for every $50 spent – and your points never expire!
What's New and Changing:
New Ways to Earn Points: Get ready to dive into point earning bonuses through new interactive experiences. These fun and engaging activities will make your visits to AMC even more rewarding. Look for more information and future communications about how to get started!
Membership Price Update: For the first time since 2016, we are increasing the price of the annual fee for your AMC Stubs Premiere membership. The new annual membership price will now be $17.99+tax beginning January 1, 2025. This adjustment helps us continue to provide the valuable benefits listed above. Currently your membership expires on January 31, 2025, however click here by December 31, 2024 to lock in an additional 12 months of Premiere benefits for only $15+tax. If you renew your membership on or after January 1, 2025, the cost will be $17.99+tax."
