I saw that the Logitech pro wheel is $475 but it doesn't include the pedals. Plus it's also a refurb. Would it still be better than the Moza r5 since it's 11Nm vs Moza only 5Nm. I currently have the thrustmaster t150 with t3pa pedals and am looking to upgrade any advice would be appreciated.

You cannot buy the 8nm booster from eBay. Not like the Fanatec.

I think you're talking about the fanatec dd with booster. This doesn't have that.

Is 5nm enough or does it leave you wanting to upgrade?

From what I have read and seen on youtube videos, it seems like a great set for casual and/or beginner sim racers. It being direct drive instead of belt, or worse yet gear driven (logitech) , its already a great setup. Planning to get either the Moza R3 or the R5 for my beginner sim racer kid. I almost jumped on the logitech sales , but I resisted the urge to grab either the g920 or g923.

After doing a crash course (pun fully intended) on what is the cream of the crop it became a decision between the R5 and R9. Decided on the R5 as it is the best deal in a bundle even if it is the weakest in the line (Fanatec was considered). Most things can be upgraded later if needed. Just remember to get the SR-P pedal accessory kit it is a necessity for the pedals that come in this bundle. Best deal on both I found is at Microcenter. Could not find the bundle itself for less than $440.

This is a decent deal but if you have a Microcenter nearby they have a couple simracing bundles that are much better value than this.

Agree with what you said. Just remember that the r5 bundle comes with sr-p lite pedals. Different "accessory" kit since srp non lite use loadcell.

Oh wow I didn't realize that the compatibility was in the wheel itself. Was just debating getting the R3 🤔
