This is the cheapest shipped price I've seen, even though there isn't a discount to the item price. I think ordering one directed from UI was adding about 20% to the overall price with the shipping fee. Hopefully more stores will start carrying it.

To date, most 2.5+ switches from recognized brands(NetGear/Tp Link/ubiquiti etc) costs like $70~$100+ even for an unmanaged one. I'm a noob to network switch. Can someone help me understand why is this one cheap? Is there any 'catch' I should be aware of, if I don't care about all the managed switch features and just want to use it as an unmanaged switch?

Looks like all 5 are 2.5G, and one of them is POE to power the switch as well (or USB powered w/included adapter). Given it's the same as the one here: https://store.ui.com/us/en/produc...lex-2-5g-5.

Yeah, they definitely need to clear that up. But for features at least it specifies 5x2.5gb

Should be 5x2.5GbE RJ45 ports. The manufacturer specs link is here https://techspecs.ui.com/unifi/sw...#datasheet.
