Great price but League Pass blackouts are obscene. My city is not in an NBA market, the nearest NBA team is almost 300 miles away. Yet we have 3 different teams marked as blackouts for us.
Looks like signing up on the web will only give you the pass until end of the season around April but you should still get NBA TV until start of the preseason next year. The NBA app also has this deal for the same price but it is an annual plan. So signing up on the app is a better deal since you still get the regular season games until next November?

You can do a gift subscription to yourself if you have an existing subscription. You may need to sign in with an alt account as the gift giver. The FAQ suggests the gift receiver could stack it to an existing sub, but I set up a delayed delivery to the day after my sub expires in February.

Yeah, it's annoying that in these day and age of streaming, there is still blackout for local teams.
I still buy this every BF and watch on my PC using a VPN connected to another country. It still gets block but I get lucky most of the time, by trying different countries, and trying some work around. (ex. incognito window, connect to vpn (ex Canada), login to nba LP, select a game to watch, turn-off vpn before hitting play) work with me most of the time, just be patient.
Useless NBA league pass , can't even watch your local teams, sometimes VPN works , by the time you get to pick a different country or US city , you already tired and still have to pay more for premium , if the game is on TNT or ESPN it's blacked out too !!

Wait is this true? So without VPN you're just watching random teams.

Can't seem to change my account email on iOS and they're forcing regular price even though I signed in with a new account

League Pass doesn't feature the live telecast for national games, such as those on ESPN and TNT. All playoff games beyond the first round are nationally televised, so you only get live games up until the end of the first round.
For nationally televised games on TNT, you only get alternate camera angles. For nationally televised ESPN games, you can only listen to the radio broadcast.
There are no local market games, so you'd need a VPN and in some cases a location spoofer.
The restrictions are stupid. The service is watered-down. The NBA product is fragmented and the free offerings available through the internet are better, but we won't discuss that further.
