  1. To verify your eligibility for Amazon Prime Student, you don't need to be an active student. Amazon only requires verification with a .edu email address.
  2. If you've used Prime Student before, there's no way to circumvent the system. Creating a second account won't work, as Amazon representatives can easily track that you've used the service with another account.
  3. If you don't have an active .edu email but are still a student, you can contact "amazon-student-verification @ amazon . com" with documentation proving your student status. This method works for students on a break or those who have reached the age limit for Prime Student. Amazon's team can manually add you to the Prime Student program after verification.
  4. I used manual verification, after having some break period, and using student prime 8+ years now 😁
You can check the details for Manual verification at : https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&...3984694011
  5. For those who haven't used Prime Student and are looking for alternative ways to qualify:
    1. Sign up with your school's alumni association, which may provide a .edu email.
    2. Enroll in a single course at a nearby school to obtain a student account.
    3. Use online education services that offer .edu email addresses.
    4. Check if your graduated school's .edu email account is still active, as some institutions keep accounts open for months or years after graduation.
It's worth noting that these methods are commonly known and that Amazon offers a free trial for Prime Student.

Best use of Amazon Prime even for $7.49 a month? I noticed ads even on the Prime Videos nowadays.

Did anyone else notice that packages are no longer delivered in 1-2 days like they used to several years ago?

It appears as Amazon run big on this One Day delivery promise to have everyone sign up for Prime, but then clawed back on the promise and the whole idea of one-day shipping. I remember they used to cite pandemic as the reason for delays, but pandemic has been over for a long time now and I still dont see it going back to the way it was several years ago.

And the way they push Prime sign up page EVERY time you checkout, no matter how many orders you place a day, even if it is your 15th order on that day, they will make you go through Prime sign up page and press that Skip button every time... Cant describe with words how annoying that is. Do they really think people will pay them $139 for being pushy? Bad marketing

DO IT!!!! My most rewarding days are my days at school, and despite being busy (self employed and a single parent to 3 kids), I'm loving every second there.
My cousin recently asked me what I'm getting my masters in, and I said that's adorable that you think so highly of me, honey it's just an associates 🤪

I think that it really depends on where you live.
I'm in a major city and pretty much always get things in 1-2 days.
I sometimes order things for my mom, who lives in a small town and it can take 3-5 days and her stuff is usually delivered by UPS.

Adding one tip:
Many colleges provide .edu emails for alumni.
Amazon usually terminates prime student discount on an account after 4-5 years, unless you do manual verification again. You can contact school's IT department to change your .edu email prefix to apply for a new student account on Amazon.

I wish Amazon would terminate the student status on some of my alias accounts from my college and grad school days, and they still have the student status ten years later. This makes them ineligible to get the 6-month trial again.

Compare that to standard Amazon accounts, you can get a 1-month free trial just about every year, if I'm not mistaken.

I actually asked Amazon to remove my student status from those accounts, and they couldn't figure out how.
