I promise you going from the 10 pro to the 12/12r is worth it. I had nothing but performance issues with my 10 pro I went to the 12r and haven't looked back.

The 13 is a generational jump on the CPU/GPU assuming the US release is still using the same chip, the 12 is a notable but not nearly as extreme difference.

Will definitely use elite. They have never downgraded the chip for US release.

My 8t is still going strong 4 years later. Been with this brand since the original one plus.

My only complaint is the camera is sorta lacking on the 8t. I'm wondering if I should get the 12 or wait for the 13, cpu does not matter to me, camera is everything.

Did some research last night and decided to Wait for the 13. My main concern with the 12 is that curved screen is just asking to be cracked the first time you drop it with or without a bumper case. I did end up buying a 12 though for the wifey for Christmas so im sorta kinda getting one but not really.

This is the same price they had for AT LEAST a few weeks last month. I looked multiple times because I was thinking of upgrading. Love how they advertise it as a huge deal though

Same here, phone has been rock solid but the camera and lack of updates are my issue. I could go custom rom, but the camera won't change.. I'd bite, but the curved glass is making me think it's better to wait for the 13. Screen protectors never work well with curved displays..

Not if you take care of it, or just use a decent case. My Galaxy S8 doesn't have a broken screen and is much older than your 8t. Most of my phones were curved.
