This crap sucks, sooner or later you'll get joy-con drift and it's hard to get Nintendo to replace and repair it.. it's also hard to take apart and replace the joystick.

I recommend to buy it cheap or wait until switch 2

It's pretty easy diy project that costs about $10 to replace the sticks yourself. Lots of YouTube videos. Took me maybe 10 minutes.

Not sarcastic reply:

I don't think so although when I haven't had a membership in the past, I've had a friend ship things to me instead and have paid them back.

Both are DEALS and a fool would pass 'em up. RE: Joy con drift...Nintendo will repair it for free w/the only issue is of course having to ship it there.

I have 3 pro controllers and am debating a 4th as I doubt any new version is going to be some WOW affair and Nintendo has already alerted that the games are backwards compatible...so likely the hardware will be too

I was trying to find this out, too. I'm a Sam's member & logged in, and I still get an $8 shipping charge.

The only indicator of how to get free shipping is that there's a box that says "Upgrade to Plus - Free shipping on eligible orders over $50".

So apparently you not only have to be a Sam's member, you have to also upgrade/pay for Plus to get free shipping...on orders over $50. The ensh*tification of things continues. Subscribe here, upgrade there, upcharge here, ultra/prime/plus membership there. Ugh.

Anyway, back to the deal at hand...the $8 shipping kinda kills this, I feel like.

Usually it is, but why not order online and pick up in store if that's a concern?

Unfortunately, store pick up option is N/A for my area.😓

So does Nintendo repair them for free? How does that work? How much does shipping cost? (Has anyone does this before?)
