This has been on sale for a bit without being posted. The screen specs on this for the price along with 32 GB RAM and the 4070 makes this a steal. Not even in the market for a laptop and I am considering it.

C'mon buddy, that isn't even close. Are you trolling?
Not even close? Same CPU, same GPU, same memory, 2TB SSD instead of one, Win11 Pro instead of Home and is $50 more. If you increase to 1266, you get 64GB Ram too. But also 16-inches instead of 17. You sure you looked at the link?
In fact if you are willing to spend $1400, you can up that config to 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD.

Buddy, it is only 1080p and 144hz, bottom of the barrel screen, not even mentioning or caring it is smaller. This is 1440p and 240hz. No comparison. Plus that is an HP Victus which is bottom of the barrel build quality.
Like I said, you must be trolling. if not, that's just sad.

The only knock on it is that it's a MSI Katana, the chassis is on the lower end in terms of build quality. If it were like a Lenovo Legion it'd be absolute no brainer, but I decided to pull the trigger though. Overall specs beat out pretty much everything else on BF for the price. All other cheaper/similarly priced deals either have a worse screen, worse processor, or less RAM and/or Storage.

Agreed. And you have 90 days in case something better comes along too.
Bought the laptop expecting a QHD display (2560x1440) but was shipped an FHD display (1900x1080). Laptop is otherwise as advertised and works well, but be aware the display is not what is being advertised.

My BIL told me about this a week or two ago when he ordered his, and has received it already. It is indeed a 1440p screen.
edit: he has since found out it is not... Returned.

Sadly this is not for a qhd screen its a hd, they are false advertising. Look up the model and look at the reviews everyone is getting the 1080p laptop
How does this compare to the Dell G16 (2023) with the 13900HX, 4070, and 32GB RAM? Can someone with more expertise help me out on which one is better? They're both pretty much the same price for me. I plan to use it for AI workloads/coding and light gaming and his will be my daily laptop.

Based on what I see on Costco's and MSI's website, it should be the QHD as advertised. I'm in for one.
