From what i read, the two are very similar. My concern is that the c4 wont go down this low again before the end of january when new tariffs kick in - potentially raising prices significantly. Then again, who knows what the future holds.

A lot of people were able to get that price mistake deal from Costco. S90c was also $999 for a long time at Costco/Bestbuy and it's not that different from s90d.

If you buy the 42 C4 from LG directly and ask chat to give you a 15% coupon code, the total comes to be around $840 after tax, which is only 30 bucks more expensive than the earlier eBay deal that's already expired.

Same panel, except Samsung has no Dolby Vision, worse motion handling and lower peak brightness. The main concern of buying from other resellers is that they don't have good coverage of burn-in. That's why I got an open-box c4 42 from bestbuy and will add a Geek Squad protection.
