My 4070 Super is an msi (I realize that can vary)
Memory is T Force Delta 16GBx2 5200
"I have one, and the fan loudness is fixable. For some reason the BIOS setting has the case fans going at max speed all the time, so I just went in to the settings and set up a curve. Once I did that it's much quieter now."

Any thoughts on the cpu temps without liquid cooling present? That's the last thing holding me back.
Liquid cooling still highly niche and less than .05% of all systems. This is a large case full of fans with lots of airflow. You'll be fine unless you run it in a small room with poor ventilation non-stop in a region with hot summers.
Thoughts on how this Costco IBP deal compares to this Best Buy Cyberpower AMD X3D build price-to-value wise?

Seems to be very comparable, I'm wondering if the extra $129 makes sense for the X3D with liquid cooling and a slightly beefier PSU.
If I can get it for around $1000 with various cashback, discounts, etc?
Like one of the first posters said, it's a beast. There is fan noise. I wouldn't call it loud at all, but it's there. You can mess with the fan curves in the bios or in the MSI center.
Definitely doesn't require liquid cooling. I did zero fan adjustments and I'm hitting 68C to 74C in Helldivers 2 and Diablo 4 (gpu/cpu).
The only thing I really did before loading up games was update everything including the bios. No issues so far.

I don't have any regrets pulling the trigger on this one so far compared to the other deals I've seen since.

Half the ram, half the storage, step down with CPU, but has liquid cooling with bump up on GPU (4070Ti Super) and can be ~$200-300 cheaper than this deal with various discounts and cash-back (10% off coupon, 15% CB site, 5% CC CB)

Is it relatively straightforward to swap out the fans with something quieter? Any recommendations? Would I need to swap out all 5 fans?
I'm getting this for my son and don't know much about computer. Also is there any specifications for the monitor and any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
