I bought this exact computer last week, it's a beast. This is the motherboard: https://www.asus.com/motherboards...-a-ax6-ii/

My 4070 Super is an msi (I realize that can vary)
Memory is T Force Delta 16GBx2 5200
I found a discussion of this pc on reddit. Here is what they said about the loudness.

"I have one, and the fan loudness is fixable. For some reason the BIOS setting has the case fans going at max speed all the time, so I just went in to the settings and set up a curve. Once I did that it's much quieter now."
That's the neat part. You can upgrade the wifi chip yourself with a desktop. Also, no one uses wifi on a gaming machine.

What is the huge fuss about Intel I can get the same deal with a Ryzen 7800xd it's only 8 core though?!? Wouldn't this be a better deal?! The Intel one I'm saying or is the Ryzen 7800xd better?!?
Where can you get the same deal? Care to share a link?

Intels are having stability problems. 7800x3d outperforms because its architecture is designed for gaming.

This is very bad hardware. We can keep doing the workarounds. I am not sure how long this system would last with all the lower fan speeds. Not sure if the chips are already damaged running in lower fan speeds., The workarounds mentioned keeps the system quiet while minimal processing, once there is significant processing activity the fans starts howling . Another MAJOR concern is the bios update. I wasnt comfortable doing it. Returns were taken back without any questions. Thanks Costco! Finally, one should ask can this system last at least 5 years running continuously every day. My answer is a strong no!
You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I'm in the process of setting up this computer and I'm running into an issue with the Bluetooth not detecting any of my Bluetooth devices. These devices are detectable by my iPhone and other computers so the issue has to be with this new computer. There is a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna that I've already connected in the back, but that didn't solve the problem. Anyone else experience this and have a solution for it?
I had the same problem when I first set up my system; however, I flashed the BIOS and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers before I hooked up the antenna that came with the computer. After that, everything worked with no issues. Not sure which fixed the issue.

Which one is better? Any concerns or first things to do once I get it home other than drivers?

I'm looking for a new PC. All I do is Microsoft Office and Internet. Would also like my son to be able to play games, but our TV is only 1080p. Is this a good buy? Overkill? My concern is many people saying to get AMD CPUs for games but I think our gaming would be fairly light with my resolution.

A bit overkill but a good deal. If you get a better monitor at one point you are all set.

My son bought two of these and on both Windows won't boot up. Error message, see pic. The first time, the Costco tech support said to return the PC, so we did for another one. Same error on the second one. Seems like the wires and Ram are set tightly. Thank you

You'd be surprised what a simple google search will give you. I attached a picture which may help. There was also a youtube video that covered this if that's more your speed.

Got past that screen. But now, It's been stuck on 'Just a Moment' screen for about an hour. I read that it should only take 20 to 30 minutes. Any ideas, seems like it won't get past this.

Confirmed that using the BIOS to toggle the chassis fans to PWM mode makes for much-quieter operation. Haven't tried manual mode but that should work too.

Fan noise is holy cow. It's like an AC unit.

Easy fix.. and contrary to what all the randos said, is to switch the fan profile to PWM. The default is auto, and choices are DC and PWM.
Boot your pc. Spam the del button or f2.
In bios switch to adv.
And under fan settings just turn all the fans over to PWM from auto.

You'll notice the fan noise go away before you even to restart and save.
If you need help I'll post some pics.
If you could post some pics that would be great. Just picked this up tonight and I'd like to set it up tomorrow.
