Correct. Either you get a free membership or get $50 off. Either way you look at it, you are getting $50. Even if you don't get the membership, you are still saving ~$ 36.45 lower than Amazon and Best Buy (Black Friday's deals).

I do not know if you are legitimately asking/understanding or not. So I will answer what I think is your question. Target red card gives you 5% off (which is the same as your Amazon offer) . At this point the deals are the same. If you are eligible for the coupons, the 5% gets lowered because it is taken after the coupons are applied (which obviously lowers the price). This is why my 5% is lower than yours. I hope this helps you understand better.

I am confused because why is the 5% off special for Airpods Max, doesn't it work for all purchases
