I bought this about a month or so ago and it was missing a socket. I called Kobalt first and that took a bit to get to the right person that supports socket warranty- the person told me to go to store to get resolved.
Store had only the option to do a return of the whole set and then reorder a new set. They couldn't just swap out one socket for me to save the hassle. I ended up returning the entire thing and being done.
This might be different from store to store but lost my trust in their warranty.
On the thread from a month ago someone warned of this issue needing to return the whole set and they were right. What a mess of a warranty process to have to bring all the good sockets back every time.

I have this set along with the other large Kobalt sets and my only complaint is that the sizes are only lightly etched onto the sockets, and it's not very readable.
