It's a serious oversight. I think I paid less than $20 when Al's had all the Gerber's on sale in the Fall. It's an acceptable knife and scissors I keep in my work (office) bag, but it's not am EDC. I have the Leatherman Skeletool CX for that. Very satisfied though it's a bit more ($75 or so).

In a pinch, I've used it with different bits and knowing it doesn't have a lock for the center drive, I sometimes have this 90Ā° to get extra leverage to tighten or loosen things. I know my own strength and was able to apply a lot of torque pressure without torsioning the joint.
