I've been using Godox devices since 2016 (all from Amazon), and currently have 2 speed lights, 1 studio strobe, and 1 AD200Pro… they are more than good enough for my non-professional needs.
2x Ad200 will absolutely NOT overpower the sun, unless you have an ND installed. Even then, and boosted by an AD-B2 it still doesnt really unless you are right on top of someone.
"Flashpoint has support as AD200 isn't the most durable."
I pile my ad200s loose in my lighting case and actively use the same ones I bought in 2018.
"AD100 is more rugged."
It is not.
"You sometimes find XR pro trigger for 30-60"
Uhh. MAybe used... $60 is the floor, for new.
"I personally like Q200"
To anyone getting into lighting, avoid shit like this. When you get a light, get something that can grow with you. Neewer has multiple lights in their wireless q line, but not a complete selection, at worse prices than Godox/ Flashpoint, and hard pass on Neewer build quality.
I use and own the lastest Neweer, Flashpoint, Godox. Was shocked to see Neweer up their quality after 20 events and not going easy on it. Just how Godox up their quality few years ago.
Read Fstoppers and other reviewers gave high makes for value (semi-pro), $100 z1, $180 Q200. gets the basics done for price of V1pro.
Godox/Flashpoint is great system if you go all into studio and flash photography.
Godox AD200 and speedlights breaking is thing in the field, its common for fulltime pro to own 4 of them and half breaking.
It doesn't sound you shoot that much.
