If cost isn't your top motivation, go for the Classic. You won't regret it.
Device turns on and screen works normally
Activation Locks are disabled, accounts are removed, and device is factory reset
Charging works and battery holds a charge
Screen and body (front and back) are free of cracks
The device is not on a banned list
IMHO it's a bit misleading to advertise "Any condition" when the terms are actually "Estimated trade-in credit $100" for "Good condition" for full trade-in value. And Samsung gets to decide if it meets the criteria and will ding your credit card after you've already received the product and by that time the return window may have already closed which is what happened to me on cell phone trade-in "deal". YMMV
