Isn't it the same as this one from Costco but Costco offers 2 year warranty.

way overpriced, I saw the same model with a 1080p screen for 850 on Amazon, and that is overpriced, too. 4060 laptops are virtually irrelevant now with the new generation of video cards coming, and APU's that will offer similar performance without the noise and heat. A 4060 at 2k would be a nightmare.

We are 6+ months out from the APUs you are referencing hitting gaming laptops and we have no ACTUAL information on the performance numbers or the cost of those laptops. Given that Q1 will have those APUs in workstations not gaming, much less low to mid range laptops, it's pretty irrelevant today.

This is a great deal, and "the same model with a 1080p screen" since they don't make this model with a 1080p screen given it's a 16:10 screen design, I'm going to guess you didn't ACTUALLY see this same model for $850 lol.

The return policy for B&H is very bad. If you open the box for a computer, you can't return it. If you are planning to buy this, please check the return policy. Quoting from the policy:

Nonreturnable Items
Opened TVs, combos and monitors 37" and larger — original packaging cannot be unsealed
Opened computers and computer software — original packaging cannot be unsealed

This site has Paypal payment, so you can have 5% cashback with Chase Freedom Flex ~ about $60 I thought.

I've been looking for a laptop for CAD and my laser engraver/cutter. I'm not an expert but from the specs on this it seems to be the best value out there that I've seen. Any problems with this laptop? - thanks

That is an ideapad from early 2022 with a processor that is literally a third as fast as this one, a 3050 vs a 4060, half the ram half the SSD, and the screen is garbage in comparison. On top of that the ideapad build is dramatically cheaper and worse than a Legion 5i's build.

Put this another way, this laptop for $850 would have roughly been MSRP when it released 2.5 years ago. I cannot overstate how off you are about how good of a deal this Legion 5 is.
