Reading the product description, I get it now:
*A great way to decorate your home, business, or event space without damaging your walls. Well suited for kids' rooms, dorms and apartments. A water-resistant white PVC vinyl with a removable pressure sensitive adhesive and a non-glare finish."
Probably could have came up with a better product title. ๐
First, the website wouldn't let me upload my picture in high resolution. It only uploaded 215kb file when my source file was over 4 mb.
No way a 215kb jpeg file would print in decent quality for 16x20 size print. Of course the website software didnt warn me that it was a 215kb file until I noticed it uploading. Secondly, the website crashed when trying to place my order anyway. Then I restarted the order after figuring out how to upload at full resolution. It's under "upload options" on their site, in a completely non intuitive hidden place. Next came the email verification that the first print order went through successfully.. So I called CVS photo customer service before submitting the order a second time and verified that they canceled the first order, and that they would take the discount code to place the second order.
When I got to CVS , the clerk reluctantly let me take a look at the order. Im glad I double checked, because both prints were printed at low resolution with horrible distortion. One had white margins where the paper was cut improperly No one bothered to cancel the first order, and no one bothered to even look at either print because they were horribly upscaled.
The store manager at the store wouldn't even let me explain that I called into customer service to cancel the first order, so I wound up walking out without anything. He was rude to put it mildly. I dont have the time to argue with jerks. Even with these "great" slickdeals for prints, CVS print quality and customer service is terrible. No wonder they are closing CVS stores left and right. This isnt the only CVS store where my prints came out looking like over saturation, or messy prints, although this was the first large size poster print.
Lesson learned.
My advice - dont use CVS for photo prints, even at heavily discounted prices. Not worth the hassle.

These 16x20 repositionable posters are my favorite "in store" deal for prints. When they do it right, they are actually nice quality, way better than the 8x10 print stock quality.
Only issue I have is when the store prints on the wrong paper but every time they will reprint it for me.

I prefer when they leave the boarder at the top so I can then carefully trim it myself, as a store worker may not take the extra time to make it perfect.

As far as quality goes, it may depend on the location? The rep at my store had me double check the quality of the print before leaving. One of two had a blemish and she eagerly printed another one for me.
Recommended especially for $5.
