The DiscoverIt card finally has value this quarter for those that also have Target and Prime 5% cards. (Amazon & Target are Q4 5% categories.)

Edit: I did a chat on discover.com and asked if I could get a retention offer since I was considering cancelling and immediately got offered a bonus 3% extra Cashback for three months effective the next day. Worth a shot to get 8% CB with your Discover card instead of 5!

It is a choice. If it is useless for someone, just don't buy it. Target still has some deals. For example, same price of apple watch,ipad on Walmart target amazon. Also deals on toilet paper, tide. Normal price on milk.

That's why you don't use it for normal priced stuff unless it's the same as other places. Lot's of Target Circle Deals make things cheaper than other places throughout the year. There's also many things (electronics) that are typically exact same price as other places that you are getting for cheaper with these gift cards.

I use it all the time to price match it with walmart and amazon . I have a nearby target but walmart is far from my location and its works well. I usually load up 1k every year on this deal on two of my accounts

i got the same offer but 3% cash back for 6 month up to $2500
