I purchased this last year for $50. So, not much of a deal as newer versions have been released.

I got this mouse 2 years ago for $50. It's a great mouse and has been in daily use for that whole time. But agree it's not the best bang for your buck anymore.

This thread provided pretty good variety: https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseRev...HjwSMUIlPo

You can go to elo sh apes. Com to compare the size of different mouses.

Yeah, I see Amazon currently has the regular G Pro on sale for 66.50. Not sure what updates it has over this one. I also bought this one for this price like a year or so ago and the only thing about it that doesn't feel updated is that the cable is micro USB where it plugs into the mouse. I cannot tell if that has been updated or not just looking at the amazon listing.

Other than that I like this mouse a lot. I love how easy it is to plug it in and keep using it while it charges without interrupting play. It's comfortable and it has been reliable.

For a closer recommendation, look at the Incott G23 (nearly identical shape) or Mchose A7. They are clones of this shape with better everything aside from sensor (equal) and warranty. Weight, coating, durability, usb-C, battery life, price, etc. The Incott G23 is $44 on Amazon and on AliExpress $35 after coupon code.

How are the build quality? Feel and coating, compared to g pro wireless?

These two companies are known for producing mice that are very well built. You can look up reviews on Reddit if you want for more details.

The G23 I have feels just as good as my GPW. Coating is better than GPW and comparable to GPX, might be better since the White GPX is prone to yellowing. The side buttons are far more responsive, and the feet are thick and glide better.

The reason I say the G23 is more durable is because the switches on the main clicks are hot swappable, so if they double click it's < 3 min process to put new mechanical ones in. They include 3 types in the box, the medium feel blue shell, the more tactile green ones, and the silent browns.

The only drawback is the software isn't great like a few other Chinese mice (Such as VXE/ATK web-based), but if you're only setting and forgetting once it's a non-issue. Not fully ambidextrous like this though, the only modern ones I can think of are from Pulsar with their X3 and X2A.

I have this mouse. After a few years it has the scroll issue where if you scroll down or up it would jump the opposite 1 click. Kind of annoying and the only temp fix would be rolling the scroll up and down on a mousepad or anything smooth. The temp fix only works for like a few hours or so and the issue resumes. From what I read up seem to be a common problem with this mouse.

I use GPW mice specifically because I need more than 2 side buttons but MMO-style mice are a no-go. It's nice to see that the X2A has the same ability to use all 4 side buttons at once, thanks for the recommendation.
