You'll need to get all the way to the product then to the very last place right before checkout until you see the actual discount of -$12.00.

These two companies are known for producing mice that are very well built. You can look up reviews on Reddit if you want for more details.

The G23 I have feels just as good as my GPW. Coating is better than GPW and comparable to GPX, might be better since the White GPX is prone to yellowing. The side buttons are far more responsive, and the feet are thick and glide better.

The reason I say the G23 is more durable is because the switches on the main clicks are hot swappable, so if they double click it's < 3 min process to put new mechanical ones in. They include 3 types in the box, the medium feel blue shell, the more tactile green ones, and the silent browns.

The only drawback is the software isn't great like a few other Chinese mice (Such as VXE/ATK web-based), but if you're only setting and forgetting once it's a non-issue. Not fully ambidextrous like this though, the only modern ones I can think of are from Pulsar with their X3 and X2A.
Thx! I bought the g23 pro from aliexpress for $38 today to try it out!

60 hours play time before needing recharge? Does this thing charge on Logitech wireless charge pad?
No, the older models like this one use a pronged micro USB cable. Fortunately they can be used like a regular wired mouse while charging and the charging time is fairly quick.
Added a picture of the cable:

Yes you can use the logitech powercore pad. and no you don't have to use the included plug any micro usb cable can charge it. I have this exact mouse, fortunately I have installed mouse grips. The gold on blue is an eyesore.

For a closer recommendation, look at the Incott G23 (nearly identical shape) or Mchose A7. They are clones of this shape with better everything aside from sensor (equal) and warranty. Weight, coating, durability, usb-C, battery life, price, etc. The Incott G23 is $44 on Amazon and on AliExpress $35 after coupon code.
Do you have any recommendations for ergonomic mice for fps gaming? I use a Logitech g5 and it seems to fit my hand nicely, though may be purely out of familiarity now.

There's a lot of options, but most are ambi mice. Common ergo recs that are a bit different in shape to the G5 but still high quality are the Zaopin Z2, Incott G24/Ghero, and ATK Z1.

From Reddit it seems most recommend the G502X or Basilisk as similar in shape. The MX518 Legendary is very similar, but it's been discontinued...

Is this a gamer's mouse? Honest question. Why would someone pay $48 for a mouse, a FP deal at that, when a Chinese basic wireless mouse cost $5? What am I missing out on?

There are tons of better mice between $40 to $70 with up to date specs right now
besides weight, what else are you looking for in regards to better specs?
