I hate these block deals that come with so many empty slots on the block. I'll feel compelled to fill it out and buying even just the serrated knife in the cheaper gourmet series costs more than this entire deal.

I have these gourmet version of the steak knife set. I'm about to donate to charity and buy their classic version. The rest of my knives are all the classic version and way better. The gourmets are too soft and don't hold an edge.

Assuming the pictures and description are accurate, these are the Wusthof Gourmet line, which are German made. If so this is a pretty decent deal for decent knives with a great warranty
