I'm not sure on the brand, but I have a similar model by Stanley and these things are great. Saved my behind a number of times whether due to an unexpected battery or tire issue in an instant.

The batteries in these die after about 2 years some of the older ones would last 5 years but on top of that this website looks sketchy as hell

Beware of Carid. I have purchased in the past and nothing but problems. Customers service sucks.

The newer tech lithium jump starters are so much smaller, and re-charge so much faster. Pass.

Clore Automotive Jump N Carry is the go-to jumper used by roadside assistance at both the private and public sector level

Most roadside responders through the AAA affiliate program use these

PennDOT's Highway Safety Patrol also use Jump N Carry jumpers

Why? They are very very reliable, they are rugged, they are powerful, they are serviceable, and Clore Automotive has a repair service voucher they include with the jumper. They have lead acid batteries, yes. Which means you should care for it like a lead acid battery. This means not leaving it on a shelf to sit for 2 yrs without ever plugging it in.

Regarding the repair service voucher. For as long as you own the unit and have the voucher in your possession, they will repair or replace the unit for the value of the voucher. I can vouch for this repair service program, as I just had a smaller Jump N Carry from 2013 completely replaced for the $50 voucher. The lead acid battery was dead. I could have replaced the battery myself but I figured I would do the repair service. I shipped it to them (I had to pay shipping which came to $16.90 flat rate, plus a check for $50. They shipped me back a brand new unit.

The junk lithium ones found on the Amazon Bazaar with promo code, are straight up garbage.

Thanks for the post. I have the Clore model from years ago, and I recharge it every 6 months or whenever I remember. (I know the manual says to charge it every month.) The last charge took a bit of time but it looked fine. Are you saying the battery should still be replaced?

Battery could be fine, you may have to do some testing to find out

Obsolete product. Search the newer jump starters if you need one.

I'm not sure about this website, but the product is as good as it gets. This is made by Clore Automotive. I bought model JNC660 in 2012 & it's still going strong 12+ years later. The key is to keep them charged & I've always topped mine off every couple months. They are heavy but work fantastic .
