Looks like a fairly decent laptop, not for gaming, but still pretty good for a 17" laptop with a Raptor Lake processor.

Just wondering if there are Staples coupons to make this a better deal?

Good deal! Staples has a 15.6" version of this with 16GB RAM for $379 [staples.com] if someone is looking for a smaller and lighter laptop. Too bad neither of them have Thunderbolt.

Yes, it is always a great idea to buy some cheap no name RAM and stick it into a laptop - and then blame it on the manufacturer when the computer stops working.

CORSAIR Vengeance DDR4 RAM 16GB 3200MHz is only $26 at Amazon

thanks for posting this OP Smilie .. I know people are probably getting sick and tired of me saying this Stick Out Tongue and by no means a deal breaker especially at this price Smilie ...but I believe it only has the one slot for a hard drive like a lot of laptops do nowadays (personally due to paranoia Stick Out Tongue I like to have all my documents on a second hard drive plus a backup of windows on the second hard drive to make restoring the PC from a previous backup easier, hopefully less likely to lose your documents too .. that and the option for extra storage space is nice Smilie )

But that's just me a lot of people are fully expecting only one hard drive on the laptop and are perfectly ok with that so not a complaint on my end by any means Smilie

:-) That's a very good idea. Then I thought of buying insurance for these thing and found this on amzn https:// www.amazon.com/ Silicon-Power-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Notebook/ dp/ B08QZBB53R Backed by a lifetime warranty.
Don't know how "Backed by a lifetime warranty" works but it sounds very interesting :-)
