Picked this up a few weeks ago for $25 from BB. It's ok, but some of the buttons seem ultra sensitive, like registering a press with barely any pressure, particularly the shoulder ones. Quite a few mis-hits. I got it for retro gaming on Switch, but it hasn't seen much use.

You bought a different controller, this is the hall effect version.
