This French roast is pretty dark and strong and can cook up to 16 oz. of hot water with no problem at all, and without any major degrade in taste or lighter in color. Bitter taste is due to not enough hot water inside the cup. Stronger and darker than Starbuck's easily.

Directions: Set 8 oz. first, then remove the K-cup and shake the beans around, put it back again, then set 8 oz. again.
