It's on the upper end, but it depends on how easily you feel like you can redeem a $10 Costco gift card. If you have a Google subscription of some kind and you shop at Costco, then it's a fine purchase.

I have had trouble with Google gift cards not working.
2 electronically sent from bought from Best Buy. One i physically bought from dollar tree.
2 $10 amounts, 1 $15 dollar amount.

in order to complain to Google, it takes about a hour of filling out forms, taking screenshots of numbers, screenshot of receipts.. Uploading downloading. Then days to a week for a response. Then days to a week for any replies you send to get a reply back from Google.
Guessing your dealing with automated replies the entire time from Google.

I did with one $10 card, i got a hassle. They wanted to know the google email account i used to buy the google gift card at dollar tree. YOU DONT USE A GOOGLE EMAIL to buy a gift card at Dollar Tree. I gave up. Took the lose.

Best Buy gift card numbers were invalid(go read the many complaints at best buy about Google gift cards not working)

Pretty much instantly received the email from Costco with the Google Play gift cards. Convenient to click one button and it instantly applied the funds to my Google Play account. Still haven't received the Costco shop card. Couldn't figure out a way to set the Google Play gift card as default payment method without removing the other payment methods.
