Once a year deal! Surely need / want a lighter 200-foot hose. Just can't leave my 4x 50 footers laying around with no use. ~$600 for a 2-wheel cart + 200 foot hose calls for a budget plan.

Rarely does Eley have sales. I'm sitting on approx $1,100 worth of carts, hoses, accessories of theirs and will say it has been money well spent. Buy once, cry once and realize this is something that will last you for decades if not longer compared to the plastic stuff.

These are the highest discounts that can happen. I've seen like a st patrick's day sale, but not as good as these numbers. I've had mine for a year or 2 now and it's been great. I use it to hose down after dogs go to the bathroom on turf. It's very easy to use and has held up well. The quick release system is great. Taking out length on the hose is easy and reeling it in is easy too. Would highly recommend this if you need to use a hose frequently.

I see they do not offer 3/4" hoses unfortunately, does that matter for this brand?

Oof! Didn't see that, here is $56 free ship - https://www.walmart.com/ip/217001...4a290de428

also, just search briggs and Stratton premium rubber hose and they all come up. I am intrigued by these Eley hoses though, I have never heard of them and will probably buy one to check out.

Bought my wall mounted reel back in 2010 when the company was named "Rapid Reel". Like others mentioned, buy once for life. Still works today like it did new. Paid $95 shipped then, Paired it with Sear's rubber hose. Both lasted 14+ years and still going. Mounted facing west in full 100+F summer sun in Texas. Never failed once.

I too am a Florida Kevin, interested what you find out. My rubber hoses are still going strong but I wonder what's the hype behind these hoses.

I've had an Ames garden cart reel for 20 years with a lifetime warranty here in the northeast..I bring it in for the winter ... The handle broke 15 years ago and Ames sent a new handle.... The water system cracked this summer at the hose end and I contacted them last month and was told .....oh that model is discontinued we no longer have the parts so basically your lifetime warranty is no good now....guess a lifetime is the lifetime of the product... Not mine...Im throwing all hoses in a deck box now. It is a lifetime... without a lifetime warranty.

I started with a hose reel with about 150' of hose and a spray nozzle a couple of years ago. I soon added another separate 75' hose, the splitters, and quick disconnects.

I use the full length of the hose often. Thankful each time I reel it up that I spent the money.

May pick up another reel since they are on sale. The hoses are high quality, light, and do not kink. Fittings are robust.

Needless to say they are worth it imo. Expensive, but certainly a huge difference in quality in all of the products (reel, hoses, fittings).
