I bought one at full price a few weeks ago and returned it. The top was pushed in during shipping and the drawers wouldn't open because the metal box was misshapen. If you're planning to give these as a gift, open the packaging and make sure it wasn't damaged. The cardboard packaging looked fine when I bought it.

People have gone nuts over these and the HF Mini Toolboxes. People are reselling them for $30-50. So are saying they're going to use it for handgun storage but there's no lock.

I have this box in white and got some of the harbor freight today. The US general boxes are much better, giving the Lowe's to my daughter

The HF ones have roller bearings for the drawers where these are metal on metal drawers. HF has theirs for 10 dollars on BF but good luck getting them in stock (at least in my area)

HF OOS locally at black Friday $10 price. Is the HF one worth the $5 difference full price ($18) whenever it is back on stock over the Kobalt for $13?
