Your assuming you'll get real ones. Brush heads, razors and batteries are fake so often I just do Costco or target. And it doesn't matter if you buy from the "oral-b store" because they mix all the stock together

Nope. Completely different grooves that attach to the head of the brush.

I've used both and I think the iO is noticeably better, particularly if you use some of the newer features. It's definitely not worth the extra money though if you don't care about the additional connectivity and can't find a great sale. The "budget" (or even lower tier iO brushes) brushes work perfectly fine.

Tons of third-party IO heads out there. Blind brand loyalty still reigns supreme? Prefer paying half or less, especially when these prices are so irrational (like, the color white is five bucks more than the color black - how dumb do they think we are?).
