I made an online appointment for a car care package [firestonecompleteautocare.com] at my local Firestone. The service took about 45 minutes and cost $9.99 (see link above for coupon). The store manager confirmed that my appointment/service is eligible for the $50 e-gift card. Yay! Note the e-gift card is valid Jan. 2025 - Mar. 2025. I'll be using it for my next oil change.
If there's a better/cheaper way to get this promo, please feel free to share. I think this deal is slick and I'm surprised it's not getting more attention here.

I made the appointment online. Actually two, I did the wrong date on the first one and on the second one I noted to disregard the last one. They disregarded the first one. I called in to change the date. They asked me what service I wanted and I stated the 9.99 car care package. and asked if I qualify for the $50 and he said yes.
My appt is for tomorrow. Today, I get a call asking what service I want done. I repeat the 9.99 car care package. Now the guy says that won't count for the $50 because it has to be tires or a service. I was like "tire rotation" isnt a service? and he said no, it has to be like an oil change, coolant flush, etc. I gave up and cancelled the whole thing.
Ofcoruse now its too late to try with another firestone.
Who knows if he's right or wrong but I don't feel like wasting $10 taking a chance. If I do it anyways and don't get the $50, I can't complain to him. Did you actually receive your $50 yet? I hope you do.
They usually have some sort of promotion over new years, maybe I'll try then.
