78-pc winter frost dinner set for 12, for 112.50$ free shipping is a steal in my books!

Would have bought it in a heartbeat had I not been happy with my Ikea OFTAST 0.79$ tempered glass plates and bowls that achieve almost the same look and quality.

I recommend breaking out larger orders ($200+) into smaller orders so they all don't ship together in one box. I order a lot from this company and whenever I do big orders they start to throw thing haphazardly to get it to fit into a single giant box and things always end up arriving broken when that happens and it's a hassle dealing with their customer service to get it resolved. The small orders are extremely well packed and arrive safe.

What makes the experience any different when buying with the company other than them imposing a free shipping minimum? They offer nothing more than Amazon.

The plates are def hard to break. Been using them for decades.

Price is cheaper than Amazon. I have looked into the 12 people set (78 items) which costs $112 at Corelle and $181 at amazon.

Nice deal, good to see a retailer that still understands Black Friday.

Tempered Glass is indeed a magical material for dinnerware.
Multi millionaire households and rent paying households can have these, and they last forever.

For some strange reason other than Corelle nobody else made these.. now IKEA does a little.

Any other good sources for Tempered Glass like dinnerware or drink ware?

Good deal! Very slick.

However, I bought ~72 set for $120 shipped from Walmart 10 years ago. I looked at the 78 piece, and it includes 14 plastic lids, so it is actually 64 piece. Compare to the set I bought, it is missing the 28 ounce soupe bowl. Adding the 6 28 ounce bowl set for $35, final price is $130 for all shipped, I would recommend that.

I bought one 72 set plus 2 sets of 6 piece 28 ounce bowl (12 as well) for $147.5 + tax.

I tried to order Thursday and for some reason the order didn't go through. When I realized it today I went and found 50% instead of the 40% off it had previously been... Win!
I went with the 50 piece 8 place exclusive dinner set because I like all of the different sized bowls for various sides/desserts and there are no mugs which I have way too many of and didn't need/want anyway. I ended up adding the 46 oz dinner bowl/plate for salads and pho/ramen. After taxes I paid around $110 with free s/h. I've been watching sales for awhile and if you like multiple sizes like I do, this might be something to look at.

Corelle isn't perfect. Unlike Corelle, bone china doesn't explode into a thousand pieces if it breaks. BC, while not quite as durable as Corelle, is comparable. I've dropped a BC plate from waist-high in the kitchen without any damage before. They are comparable in price.
