These are ok for basic, nothing fancy, day to day running. I started out training for a half-marathon in a pair of Duramo 10s, and picked up a fresh pair for race day, since they were so cheap. They lasted about 5 months of weekly running practice, though later I found this can be extended by rotating between different pairs of shoes. These are not meant for speed work, and ideally not for race day, but in a pinch, will work, just won't be the fastest, but didn't cause any undue blisters or whatever at race pace. Eventually, the inner lining will rub away, the outer mesh will rip, and/or the soles will smooth out, but by that time, you should be trashing these due to mileage anyway. They're good for this price, have bought 4 pairs of these over the past 2 years, and will probably pick up another!

I find them to be light and comfortable. I have a very average foot and find most sneakers comfortable. These are not an amazing Black Friday deal where you are getting something like a $100 sneaker for $25. It's more like a $45 sneaker for $25 IMHO. This deal can be found on SD several times a year. Hope this helps. I just ordered a pair to keep in inventory.

Guys are these actually good for running? How do they compare to ultraboost 5x, Hoka, on cloud cloudtilt?

I have this for my casual walking shoes, and my daughter calls it : "Daddy's ugly shoes", she loves pink 😀. It's upper part is very thin, keep my feet cool.

No, these are not good for running. I have them and love the cheap $25-30 Adidas sneakers, often seen on SD, for my everyday walking around sneakers. They are light and inexpensive. I wear them for a few months and as soon as they show some age I throw them away and get a new pair from my inventory I keep well stocked. I run in expensive Hoka's that are built for running.

Are the comfortable as just regular walking shoes? I mostly wear new balance dad shoes lol.

I'm no runner but for comfort, opt for pure boost or xplr boost from Adidas for $20-30 more. Other types of adidas soles can't compare other than the comfort slides which are god tier

Got a pair on a similar sale and wore them to universal studios, 6/7 miles a day of walking and they held up great. Super comfy.

Size 12 wide foot generally
