This i9 version is the exact model I posted a review on in the thread you referenced. Premium laptop at a budget price, fully capable of gaming but doesn't turn my office into a rave party. the only two downsides being the mildly annoying screen glare and keyboard contrast in bright overhead lighting.
is the i9 worth $100 more? depends on what your use case is.

Thank you. Use case is browsing and office type of work. won't be gaming. but also need something which is future proof.
