Great price for this, though I'm hesitant to buy a pool cleaner that I won't be able to actually unbox and use for 6 months Smilie

FYI, Costco [costco.com] now has the same model at this same price ($100 discount).

Bought Walmart version of Aiper 2 months ago on clearance ($350). Well worth it at that price point

I also have a corded Dolphin.

If this one is like the Walmart version, you can set it to do floor only or wall only or auto .

Pool cleaners are probably something worth paying for the extra warranty offered through the retailer. To each his own.

Costco is definitely a good way to buy it you have one near you. I'd worried about the 6 month thing too but could always get a warranty on it . I've had good luck with squaretrade in the past but haven't used them recently tho. This is my second cordless vac purchase ina year. 1st one was a Seauto shark which worked great for 5 months then died and company refused to honor warranty. So I'll probably get a 3rd party 3yr warranty on this one

How's your Aiper working for you so far? A relative of mine has the Seagull Pro and loves it

Can I ask what the benefits are of having a non suction cleaner are? I am newer pool owner and I feel like having to remember to go out and charge and start this will be an extra step in the summer.

Everyones situation is different but for me I don't want to have to deal with the hoses or cords that tangle up sometimes. I don't get a lot of big debris, mostly leaves and grass but my solar pool skimmer catches 80% of those before they sink to the bottom. I just drop this in 1 or 2 times per week and that works perfectly for my needs

What brand of solar skimmer do you use?

I use a Betta SE , works great. Runs even when there is very little sun. Had it 2byears now and on a good sunny day it still runs for 10 hrs past sunset. Only 2 issues 1) will sometimes get stuck on my pool steps, but I bought some leg extensions on Amazon for $10 and that fixed the problem . 2 sometimes if it hasn't had sun for a while when it finally gets some it doesn't restart automatically, just power off and on and it works great again. .. other than that it's one of my best pool maintenance purchases.. the scuba still running great btw
