The B series may be considered by people as similar to the red headed step child. It does serve a purpose for a fair number of people, but may not be for everyone. I like my 55" B series from a number of years ago, but keep my eyes open for a great deal on a 77" or 83" model (B, C or G). Enjoy whichever model you choose.

Still too pricey. I think there was a deal for the b4 if you were military DoD before BF. I know not everyone can get on that deal, but it was for 1200 roughly without taxes. I think that should be compared to the gold standard now for price. The B4 is roughly the c4 in performance according to rting.
Anyone reading this: if you watch hdr content, always opt for at least the C series OLED still in 2024.

If past years are an indication, this should be around 1700 around Super Bowl timeframe

What price do you think last year's C3 77" would be worth biting on?

They work with multiple authorized resellers of various products. It's somewhat of a name your price / compete for your business model. You can place an offer, and they can counter. You won't know who is filling your order until after it's complete -- but they (supposedly) are always authorized resellers.

yet for some reason the B series does slightly better in game mode.

On a seperate note, what was the green tint issue people were talking about on the C4 series early in its release? Was that a firmware issue?

Hm, I'm not sure. I actually have a 42" c3 I use only as a monitor and for gaming and haven't noticed any issues.

I watch movies on a CX, which is still good enough in a dark room. But the G4 deals have been tempting.

Go to LG.com and ask for 15% off coupon in the chat. You get a better price. You also get 10% cash back if you know where to look (they don't allow links to CB sites here).

Then you do research, and you may end up buying a Samsung S90D instead (which is what I did, although it was slightly cheaper for me b/c of EPP).

- S90D is QD-OLED in the US (check the model number carefully to see what you get) while C4 is WOLED.
- S90D does not have DolbyVision. If you don't know what DolbyVision is, you should read up on it: 10 minutes well spent before dropping $2K on a new TV.
- Nor does S90D have Dolby Atmos, but that I suppose won't matter to most as people getting a TV like this supposedly have invested into a sound system, or at least a sound bar (which likely has Atmos).
(The 3 points above cost me hours of research yesterday and the day before)

How do you figure? LG.com is $2199.99 which with a YMMV 15% off is $1869, tax not included.

This deal is $1899 tax and shipping included.
