Nice find and you are correct, I have been watching for the solar panels for about a year and ZERO sales. Unfortunately, the subscriber 10% discount does NOT work with this sale price, just FYI.

And the funny thing is, I ordered the small solar panel direct from Ring on sale on Friday and it was delivered from Amazon (which I believe that Amazon owns Ring). I wonder why Amazon doesn't have them on sale also.

You are correct — Amazon bought Ring.

Thank you! I have also been looking for about a year for a deal on the Ring branded solar panels and I have never seen one. In for 2 small ones.

Thanks, OP! These are great if you want the Ring brand. These are also on sale and they work well with Ring cameras: https://a.co/d/cdMr92D.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason don't consider the generic ones where can get two for about the same price as official Ring labeled one?

My parents use with their exterior Rings and no issues.

you don't need to buy the ring solar panels. just buy compatible ones from amazon.

Good point (although I usually don't buy products unless they have at least a few thousand reviews due to all the scam new stores / resellers on Amazon). I like the lifetime warranty on official Ring products since I am a subscriber....and normally also get the 10% subscriber discount on top of general sale prices.....so normally it is comparable. But you are right, the price isn't amazing on these but the fact they are on sale is still a not frequent occurrence.

Bad fishhook reviews on the most generic knock-offs. 11% 1-star, 7% 2-3 star combined ratings

Original post here. Agree with what you stated. This is why I kept waiting until these went on sale to add outside cams

Anybody have any experience with one of these on the spotlight pro? I have a regular stick up cam for outside, been using the ring solar powered panel for about 2 years and haven't had to charge it at all.
Got a cheaper amazon knock off for the spotlight pro and I've still had to charge both batteries about once every 5 days. Will one of these work so I won't have to charge my spotlight pro?

I've had similar success with the knock offs…some don't fit flush in the usb c port.

It does seem like the newer ones do chew through battery faster.

It's really strange. For the older ring cameras, the knock offs all worked great for me.

I'm at 37 ring cameras, sort of a mix of all generations, but I've not found a good knock off with the usb c connector that I like.

I use the larger panel with my spotlight pro and I only have one battery. Have never had to charge anything since. For me, the smaller panel likely would've worked too
