Appears to be almost always. At least the past 20+ years.

They do still have knives that are made in the US but they stopped even stamping US in 2021 and even then it was only on certain lines of knives that ever had it.

I bought these for this price at the store in Olean.
The knife is D2 and very lightweight and seems sturdy.
The hatchet is full tang, solid, and very sturdy.
It does have some hand tingling recoil but it trimmed my brush quite nicely in 2 hours.
The folding saw in the same line was outstanding at $19.99and they are selling replacement blades for $5 but only in store that I see.
6 nephews and 3 brother in laws and I'm out $142 for Christmas.
