Nah l, you're good. Anker is a pretty reputable brand at this point. While Chinese, I feel they've proven their products and QC over the years. I'm sure a number of other SDers here would attest the same.

Buy at your own risk..It's somewhat fake..They're probably uses old components mix in with the new one..That what happens with my cousin's Apple wired earbuds after tearing apart since it broke a year later..Sold by Apple Store Amazon..
Is there a specific benefit of buying an Apple branded charger?
Anker has two of them available now for $12 and with folding pin designs, which I prefer but want to be sure before I pull the trigger.
I tested my Apple 20W and Anker 20W chargers and Apple pulls slightly less watts so I think it is just a bit more efficient. It gets a little less warm to touch too, but no thermometer involved so not a strong indication. Regardless, I would trust them both equally, plus Anker is smaller footprint and has foldable plugs, more suitable for travel.
