Thanks! I had ordered the other deal with just a single USBC plug. Cancelled that one and ordered this instead.

The single one 2 pack has one +ve edge over this deal. And that is foldable prongs..to me that is worth it plus 1$ cheaper. Both are anker and come with cables. Ymmv..

For those interested, note that there are a couple bundles for about $5 more on this page- one looks like it comes with 2 additional 90 degree usb A to C cables (braided) for $17-ish. Some may be interested there. And the other one comes with an Anker screen protector.

Strange to me is that the original 2 cables are not braided… and those additional USB A to C cables— if the adapter has a C port in it.. which charges faster than the A… then why would you put an A connector on the block end? Sounds like overstock hehe…

This is probably a very stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway— when you are using both plugs they go down to 7.5w per port.

What if you have both cables plugged in, but only 1 device plugged in and the other cable just laying there? I presume since it doesn't complete a circuit then it doesn't count, but for all I know it could be doing something like short circuiting two of the pins in the cable or something tricky like that to make it consider the port as active/used even without a load on the end of it.

Anyone know the answer?

The scenario you describe only counts as one because that's the only one drawing current so you'd get the single port rating for the "active" cable.

Why are people still voting up this this has been continuously dropping to this price so much within the past few months this is not a deal

The only actual deal was back in July when you could essentially get a 3-pack of this for this price

Any recommendations for a 45W charger, or something that will max out charging speed on the Pixel 9 Pro XL besides the Pixel Charger?
