I ordered the one from BB yesterday with the AMD Processor for the same price. I read that it might run cooler than the intel and be slightly better for light gaming. Does anybody have any insight on this? Ryzen 9 8945HS vs Core Ultra 9 185H

AMD has no NPU and last generation, Ultra 9 is newer tech and should have better battery life and an NPU.

Yup....and neither one is CoPilot certified as it needs 40 TOPS. Not saying CoPilot is a good thing, just adding information.
Both are from the same generation, but I would pick AMD in a laptop any day over Intel. AMD is cooler running and better battery. Also, with Asus you can install GHelper and have some more customization of the AMD chips (along with replacing MyAsus)

Just got this thinking about returning it . Battery life doesn't seem great 4-5 hours of mid brightness browsing and watching YouTube. Fan also gets loud and it gets warm to the touch. Awesome screen tho and good price for what it is.

going to give this couple days and see how it goes. I do want to keep it. but I'm very noise sensitive.

Thank you. Wish I had sight the Lenovo Aurora deal. But will likely have to settle for the Lenovo ideapad slim Costco deal.
ALL the Asus I saw at Best Buy felt not wel built except the ROG G14/G16.

Based on the product page, it reads like 16 hours of battery life… Can you confirm that actual battery life is 25% of the marketed hours?

That's a huge delta … off by eight hours lol

Ya this is with Samsung t7 SSD downloading torrents and watching YouTube. 2 and half hours it want from 80 to 42 percent battery.

Read some reviews, closer to 8 hours should be typical. If you are getting 5 hours, something must be up.
