There was a 10% off coupon on my page also when I went to order it. Had Gerber knives in the past. Always found them to be very good quality. Lost my knife recently so this was timely. Been wanting a multi-tool anyway. There also another color available, onyx I think, but delivery wasn't for a few weeks.

The nice thing about the armbar series is the bit driver is on the same axis as the handle so is easier to use efficiently as a screwdriver. While I don't have this version with the saw, I have one of the others and it's a nice alternative for what most people do daily: open boxes, tighten a screw, cut the corner of a bag, etc. The downside is no pliers, but I rarely need pliers on a given day.

Does the bit driver lock in place so it doesn't fold if you push in hard?

I so rarely use the pliers on my Leatherman that I lament its size and weight. That said: when you need pliers, you need pliers. This series of knives is very tempting though. The "Drive" version is my most used toolset and would significantly lighten my load.

The driver doesn't lock- the main flaw of this otherwise handy tool in my opinion. It is very light and pocketable for what it is

I got this but I wish I realized the blade was all the one to one side. Kinda awkward.
