Too many fake razors on Amazon, get it from the Walgreens deal if possible
As someone who didn't listen, stay away from Gillette razor blades on Amazon. I've gotten fake ones before. Not all of them are fake, but it happened often enough that I stopped buying them. If you have to shave daily otherwise you'll have a full beard within the week, you'll feel the difference.

Believe Amazon has custom made products include Gillette blades. To provide better price, they negotiate manufacturing differences !

Just my theory but I have compared several products and it's mind boggling how this is not public knowledge.. yet.

Of course people see this with Toilet paper but not aware same is being done with other products.

Nope, they're fake, just like their fragrances

How do you determine fakes? Amazon return policy helps given they would refund you the product and let you keep the blades

As mentioned by others, there's been a change in the blades provided by Amazon (at least for the Fusion Proglide ones. The new ones are terrible and have a different color lubricant strip. You can read plenty of reviews of the change and the dramatic change in quality.

The issue is that Amazon co-mingles their stock with marketplace sellers who let Amazon fulfill their orders. Amazon themselves don't buy and sell fakes, but when you buy from Amazon, they'll just get one from the same bin where their own stock and the stock they received from marketplace sellers are just mixed in. This is true from basically everything on Amazon and it's amazing to me that they haven't addressed this...

Obviously, that doesn't change the major point here: don't buy from Amazon.

They don't. There's a method and technique to shaving, applying cologne, etc. and rational expectations about how products can be reasonably expected to perform. The low-effort complainers here looking for cheap relevance fail on both counts and simply scream "fake" to rationalize their incompetence and mask their inability to understand anything outside of their singleminded self-centeredness.

In fifteen years using this forum, I have yet to see even one remotely plausible case for anyone buying anything fake from Amazon beyond infantile screeds.

Even Amazon admits it has a problem with fake & counterfeit products
