Don't use this brand when you go snorkeling.

"Despite claiming to be "Reef Friendly," however, the Banana Boat Sport Ultra sunscreen products contain avobenzone and octocrylene, two chemicals that can cause coral bleaching and are "well documented as being harmful to coral reefs," the lawsuit alleges."

I don't know the outcome/result of the lawsuit, if anyone can provide an update it would be great.
Don't use if you're snorkeling -near a coral reef- .. snorkeling elsewhere is a-ok. .. the (avo) benzones are really really good at blocking UVA/B and helping to prevent skin cancer. .. that said, a wide brimmed hat & long sleeve shirt is always a good idea when outdoors in sunlight & are really the first line of defense, before lotions.
