True. This one has already appeared in my account as eligible. YMMV

That's not the Fuel version. I haven't used either but typically the Fuel is worth extra.

Cordless bandsaws don't cut much before draining their batteries. Especially rigid conduit. The non-Fuel M12 is good for one or two cuts on a 2Ah battery, and then it's done. The M12 Fuel is much improved and worth the extra.

Also deep cut is worthwhile for larger cuts. So M18 fuel deep cut is the goal

It's also big/heavy (~14lbs iirc) - not practical if the main thing you do is smaller stuff like EMT conduit / unistrut. The M18 compact though (~8lbs) is kind of a good compromise that can cut angle iron / square tube up to 3.25".

I have the non fuel. It works great. Not sure fuel is worth the extra $40 plus tax

I definitely would. Efficiency isn't the only thing they've improved - they added almost an inch worth of cutting capacity, too. They also made it more 'tucked in' with the smaller motor form factor so you can get it into tighter spaces.

Lastly, not sure if the non-fuel M12 has it, but they also make a conduit reamer attachment for this & the M18 compact.

You can also cut up to 2" pipe with the fuel vs. 1.5 with the brushed.

It's also easier to cut deep unistrut with.

What is the use case for this? I've used traditional band saws and cut off tools. When would you use this instead?
