Buy and play digital games or just get a Game Pass sub and you are golden. This is a heck of a deal for a 1TB console.

We did the Series S to save some cash (and disc clutter) even though I'm generally a very pro-media-ownership person. Deals for GamePass are almost nonstop, so access to 400 games is nice, and around half can be played via Cloud Gaming (beta) which works pretty well...not perfect. Just be aware some games are 100GB+ and can eat up storage quicky. The 512GB model is more like 390 usable. We literally have 4 games on it. The 1TB is much better (S or X) and with X you get better hardware and resolution.

Why would any sane person spend this much on a console that's been stripped of a disc drive? You're limiting yourself.

Ordered one of these this AM for a total of $325 shipped after CB. Would have preferred one with disc but oh well. Can return within 30 days for free if no better deal pops up.

I just realized I held the line past both BF and CM. I just looked and I realized BF and CM was Nov 24 and 26. I had to wait for an Amazon deal since I had accumulated $300ish from Bing Rewards Amazon cards. And the $350 deal didn't hit til Dec 1st. So I'd say keep being patient.

Last playstation I had was ps3. No idea if ps players have the same drift issue as xbox does

I thought it was a bigger difference, but I was talking about the 667.2GB vs 802GB usable disc space on the original PS5 Digital (not the slim which got a 1TB boost) vs this one.

While my memory failed me there, I guess I'm not the one who needs some reading lessons. 😅
