What a weird conclusion. I'm a (winning) competitive powerlifter and bodybuilder and there is 100% a place for squat/hack machines. I've used machines for BOTH prepping for meets, as well as shows, which can be extremely effective as a part of a program.

This kind of closed-mindedness does nothing but limit you as a strength athlete.

Ronnie Coleman here. I can confirm, but these are useful for my bicep curls so I highly recommend it.

I am really curious who here is actually considering buying this.. especially if you don't already own a squat rack. Not only this is an inferior leg workout machine, it can also put unnecessary stress on your spine at heavier weights.

For me personally, its not practical to own a cumbersome machine like this unless I have large space to accommodate a home gym with multiple equipment. At this price, I can get 2+ years of gym membership. I do use this at the gym but not more than 3 reps in a given week.. seems kind of a waste of money to own IMO.
That's probably because you are in a commercial gym and are waiting 3 hours for the machine to open up and have 6 people rushing you to get off it after the first rep.

I would love to have this but a little steep on price for me and not sure where I would put it. I have a powerack in my basement but I've stopped using it for squats. I think it really depends on your body but for me a leg press machine like this is much more friendly on my spine. I like hack squat machine but it definitely puts stress on the knees. I gave up on deadlifts a few years back after throwing out my back yet again. I think this is really one of those things you have to listen to your body on. Now I couldn't live without a freemotion squat machine. Hope you meant 3 sets not 3 reps Smilie

No one who is serious enough about lifting to buy equipment should purchase this.
Agreed. I love to see fitness deals getting love on SD. But this company's name looks like someone fat-fingered balance form. Which is a bad enough name already. Zero thought/effort put into naming your company tells me you take no pride in making products.

lol, I never had to wait for one of these and even if its long occupied, there are ton more options to replace this mediocre exercise.

I wish I had the space. Normal squats kill my knees, so I used to use this and the hack squat machine at the old gym. Having this would stop me from skipping leg day.

Like I said, I purchased a lot of equipment from Temu in the past few months and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It did take a while for me to muster up the courage to do so but I'm glad I did after watching a few reviews on YouTube. I'll say that a lot of stuff is actually unbranded Syedee and GMWD equipment that can also be found on Amazon for twice, or sometimes, three times as much. Their customer service is extremely responsive as well and they immediately took care of a few issues I had with 2 of my purchases. If I bought the same stuff from Amazon I would have paid an extra $1k for no reason.
Got some products or links that you're quite fond of and would recommend? I've been thinking about Temu and AliExpress for some equipment but concerned with quality risks that lead to significant injury.

I posted some info on buying a Mikolo power rack off of Temu over here - https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/1021305

Someone else bought their Major Fitness Drone 1 from Ali Express. Basically, if you've decided to buy a specific China-made brand of equipment off of Amazon, you should just double check it's not also listed on Ali or Temu, where it's often much cheaper up front or after coupons/cb deals they run, which are very generous around major shopping events like BF.

Lot of red flags especially when I read something with no specs or mention of written warranty. After all who wants 18 ga steel when 1,000 Lbs is coming your way? This is from their description:
"DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: High-gauge steel construction makes this commercial grade product a solid and stable piece of fitness equipment."
I would rather get refurbed quality equipment before I would risk this crushing and/or killing me.

We have a power rack which gets used daily and have been wanting one of these at a good price and bit on this one.

We have the room and this is a great leg accessory machine. We can take legs to failure safely and do calf raises quickly and easily.

In gyms these machines are almost always occupied so by your opinion people who go to the gym prefer "inferior" leg workout machines.

Squats are not the only way to work the legs and back and not everyone can do squats because of injury or other conditions.

We've had our home gym for 4 years now and the price of this machine is worth 1 year of a gym membership. I can see this machine lasting more than 10 years so great value in my opinion.

Every day is leg day!

Cool machine but this would take up a ton of real estate for a home gym. Would really need it to do several different lifts to make it worth while imo.

Props to anyone that grabs one though, bad azz.

I bought their Drone 1, after about a week they messaged me and said my address was wrong and demanded I cancel my order. This happened twice, I then ordered it on Amazon.
