I think Jerky's referring to the Pet Version of the Big Green machine. It's the same machine, just in a different color scheme and comes with a crevice tool, too.
I have the regular version and it came with the attachment (extractor thingy with a hose)

It works on the single carpet cleaner and not packages unfortunately
Correct . I know for a few more bucks I tried buying a bundle too 😅. But you're just missing out on the formula

Guys you can always add the formulas separately to your cart instead of the bundle. CYBER24 works just fine.

I cannot imagine those being much better. I have a few friends who used to rent machines every year or two and now they borrow mine. They've all said it's the same machine. It has probably cleaned 20 of my friends, co-workers and neighbor's home.

I've had mine for 5+ years, and it's still going strong. I clean my entire house 1-2 times a year and spot clean 2-3 times a month.

I paid more for mine some time between 2016-2018.
I think it depends on your definition of professional. It's as good or better than the big red machines you rent. It's not as good as a commercial truck mounted machine that a true professional brings in. I'm not sure those will ever be for sale on slickdeals lol

Great machine. If you have a lot of carpet, this is a no brainer.

When I got mine I had an existing Hoover machine so I did a room with the Hoover, then with the Bissell, and the Bissell was able to pull out more dirt, and it also did a much better job at pulling out loose pile.

Here's my general approach:
- get a pump sprayer for pretreat. The $10 ones.
- for shampoo, the Bissell stuff is good, but expensive. I use the ZEP extractor shampoo HD sells. They sell a 2.5 gal version [homedepot.com] on top of the 1 gal version, saves you some $$ if you anticipate using it.
- Work in sections. Pretreat an area and saturate it pretty well with the pump sprayer. If there is a particularly bad stain you might use a different pretreat there that's designed for that kind of stain (e.g. pet)
- Fill the bottom tank of the vacuum with HOT water/soap and remove the top (suction) tank.
- Work the pretreat in, moving back and forth, while dispensing the water/soap. The purpose here is to use the beater bar for agitation without sucking the liquid out of the carpet, and with the Bissell there is no way to turn the vacuum off. Work the carpet twice, in different directions.
- Refill the water tank, install the vac tank, and start to vacuum. Start at a wall and gradually walk back. The purpose of refilling the water tank is to give added weight to the unit which should enhance suction.
- Move the unit back to the wall, and start a half width's offset from the first draw. Alternately you could suction the area twice, in different directions. I do this to extract as much liquid out as possible, basically going over the area twice
- You can repeat the steps above with plain water as a rinse, but I've never had to do that.
- When dry, go over with a regular vacuum. This will work the carpet fibers a bit and soften it up a touch.
- clean and rinse the unit before storage

As you are working you might notice "hairballs" which is.....hair, but also excess carpet fibers. The unit will usually suck these back up. You'll also see a slew of these when you pull the unit out of storage (must get stuck on the beater bar).

The only con to this machine is that it's large and somewhat unwieldy at times, but the weight is what gives it better suction.

Does the linked machine (vs something else on the site) include everything you need for a typical house? The description says 'Tools included 6" tough stain' but it wasn't clear to me if that includes the 9' foot hose (being cautious). And any advice on whether the Bissel cleaner from site at the 30% is a good deal, or from earlier in thread is there 'Carpet Miracle' which is a better deal from somewhere else?

Thanks for the info. I want to have my floors cleaned before ai replace them this year. Wasnt sure if i should invest into a good cleaner or pay a professional. I have those spot cleaners but they aren't as good.

I have been interested in this for a long time but never pulled the trigger. I just now did without hesitation, thanks OP! Note of caution: they removed the discount while I was about to enter payment info... I had to go back and reapply discount. I am not sure why it disappeared, but pay extra attention to the price during the entire process in case this happens to anyone else.
