I have a couple video reviews on YouTube, same name. Not great uphill. Motor isn't strong, so I have to kick start it in traffic so I'm not too slow and blocking traffic. Don't expect to go up a steep hill at all, unless maybe you're under 100 pounds. Probably one of the better ones for the price. Has dual brakes, the Walmart version, Hyper Skute, doesn't. I got a rear brake light with a switch for signals and a horn and it has automatic brake lights on a mercury switch for about $30-40.
I sold it to my friend that's one of the biggest used car salesmen in Montana and he said they all love it to take a few blocks away to the store. I bought a Lectric XP 3.0 Long Range for $1,200, so nowhere near comparable, but it folds and goes 30 MPH and uphill without being a problem, so I had no need for this anymore, but it's a lot easier to move around than my bike. I like it a lot better than the standup Hover 1 scooter I had bought off of a listing on here several months before. It's sitting in the hall to sell, too. I rode it across town to change cars because it's easy to load up, but I think standup scooters are sketchy due to the rake of the handlebars.

Battery still going strong 1 bar gone when going 5-6 miles now as before it was a good 10 miles. I don't charge over night. Son still able to stand while I sit if we want to go somewhere together or if his scooter dies we can use the basket to keep his on. I'd buy this again now but am I buying returns from Costco or used scooters repackaged as new?
They look very practical but I wonder are they like "Dad" material?

Remove the seat and use it like a normal scooter.

You can't, but it's better than nothing if you want to use it standing. There's other seated scooters with removable seat posts, but this one is pretty cheap and returnable to Costco.

Can't do that, the handle bars are too low
This is a pretty crappy option then if it doesn't even have an adjustable handlebar height. Even seated you'd want to adjust it to your height. I'd spend the little bit more even for a seated scooter. My father's has adjustable handlebars and the seat post can be removed, leaves a large screw hole, but it doesn't effect much. I think he got it for around $299. Maybe I can get the model from him.
I've had this for 2 years and it's been really good, there is no reason while seated to adjust the handlebar height
